During this session, we will explore how the mainstream and, likely, our own working understanding of entrepreneurship embodies values and beliefs antithetical to the Cooperative Identity. What, then, does entrepreneurship look like in a cooperative context, beyond the constraints of the capitalist imagination? Is a cooperative enterprise always a business? How can we re-conceptualize conventional entrepreneurship tools? After asking and answering questions like these together, we will then delve into a model that outlines some pragmatic and tangible steps to take towards creating cooperative enterprise.
